It’s our pleasure on behalf of entire fraternity of Indian Association of Tropical Parasitology to welcome you all to the 1st Rajasthan Chapter of Indian Academy of Tropical Parasitology (IATP) being held at Department of Microbiology, AIIMS, Jodhpur on 2^nd - 3^rd September 2016. We congratulate Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi Nag for their initiative. Parasitic diseases are now emerging as major public health problem, throughout the World, including India. We are very much confident that chapter will prove an excellent platform for professional interaction among all the medical microbiologists and Parasitologists working in various medical colleges and research institutes across Rajasthan. This will promote exchange of ideas and research interest in parasitic disease of public health importance. We extend our best wishes to the organizers and participants for the success of this event and hope that deliberations in this Conference will contribute significantly towards the advancement in the knowledge and research in this field of Parasitology.
