JODHPUR, THE SUN CITY
Rajasthan, the land embellished with infinite imprints of colour and chivalry, harmonious life and lingering music, harmony and hospitality, palaces and pristine nature; has been extending an invigorating invitation to the world, since time immemorial. Jodhpur, the heart of Rajasthan and the majestic jewel of her eternal crown, iluminate the Thar, enriching the desert with enterpreneurship, scholarship and art.Jodhpur is the second Metropolitan City of Rajasthan having known for its historical importance. This Sun City enjoys bright, sunny weather all round the year. Sometimes referred as “Blue City” due to the vivid blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. The old city circles the fort and is bounded by a wall with several gates. However, the city has expanded greatly outside the wall over the past several decades. Jodhpur lies near the geographic centre of Rajasthan state, which makes it a convenient base for travel in a region much frequented by tourists.

MEHRANGARH FORT located in the heart of the city, is one of the finest and most attractive forts in India. One cannot forget to explore the stunning museum, which boasts of a wide collection of books, literature and some of the unique and best handicrafts.
JASWANT THADA considered to be one of the architectural landmarks of Jodhpur, popularly known as the 'Taj Mahal of Marwar'. Beauty of this cenotaph has the power to captivate your attention with intricate latticework, elaborate carvings, mesmerizing gardens and brilliant portraits of great Jodhpur rulers
UMAID BHAWAN PALACE is one of the most popular edifices of the Jodhpur city. It is situated on top of a hill known as Chittar Hill, which is believed to be the highest point in the city. Its Museum displays a rich collection of pictures, arms, swords, stuffed leopards, clocks and vintage cars.
MANDORE nine km to the north of Jodhpur, was the capital of Marwar before the foundation of Jodhpur. Today its extensive gardens with high rock terrace make it a popular local attraction.
OSIAN Sand Dunes is located in the heart of the Thar desert near the ancient and picturesque desert town of the Osian on the Jodhpur - Jaisalmer Highway.
JAISALMER FORT (Golden Fort) in Rajasthan is a unique monument built almost entirely out of the locally available yellow sand stone, the fort rises 250 feet high on formation of three hills, Trikuta, formed almost totally of mud.
SAM-SAND- DUNES JAISALMER 45 kms towards the west of the Jaisalmer are located in the barren yet beautiful shifting sand dunes adjoining the village Sam. Here one can have a ride on camel with beautiful folk dancing and delicious cuisine of Rajasthan.
